V. Tony Hauser is one of Canada's most distinguished fine art photographers. He possesses a unique talent which captures the essence and livelihood of human subjects through his traditional use of black and white portraiture. Hauser is also passionate about continuing a discourse which advocates for the use of photography to motivate social justice. His long-term membership with the group PhotoSensitive, whose mandate is "to harness the power of the camera to enrich, enlighten and educate Canadians on issues of social significance" is evidence of his artistic and moral passion for being behind the lens.

Hauser’s photographs have been exhibited at the National Arts Centre in Ottawa, Toronto’s Roy Thomson Hall, Brookfield Place in Toronto, The Banff Centre in Alberta, as well as across the US and internationally. With the combination of both a rich artistic eye and a moral agenda, he continues to develop visually stunning and important photographs.
